Hello everyone,

When we met with you at the national meeting, we said we would begin sending regular updates to the board members. We hold bi-weekly meetings with Mary and Erin and will send quarterly updates to board members; so let's get into it:

Last Thursday we launched Inboard and Offshore membership functionality.

To date, there have been 48 Inboard memberships processed and 15 Offshore memberships processed.

A few bugs were found and have since been corrected:

  • Cockpit installation dates only went back to 2015
  • Link to minor waiver document missing
  • Calculation for Inboard boat fees

Items in progress:

  • Allow future member information updates/uploads

Complete:

  • Changes to Inboard classes
  • Auto update user profile "Region" field
  • Boat List - this is the backend portion for APBA admins

  • Membership Overview - this is the membership management portion for APBA admins

Q&A / Notes:

  • Event Setup: Since sanction management will take over event setup later, it doesn’t make sense to train a bunch of members on how to set up an event right now since it will change later. We will train Austin/Erin/Mary for now, but most of the event setup will be handled by Austin, using sanction information submitted to Erin the old way.
  • Request to update the address on the Contact page from FL to OH address (done).
  • Q: How to update a password for another user?
A: Go to that customer's account, edit, update password and click save at the bottom. It saves even though you do not see the password displayed after saving (security measure).
  • Q: How to add more than 4 inboard boats?
A: Add the first 4 on the first page, click next and add more on the next page. Each page for Inboard Boats can accept up to 4 boats. If more, they can be added on subsequent pages.
  • Q: Scorer's dashboard - can we build something like the Membership Overview for the scorers to access and view if members are active and for what categories?
A: We will investigate and see if we can build something similar without all of the admin/edit access that those users should not have.
