I'm a Throttleman. How do I sign up?
If you are in the race boat, select either Driver/Owner or Driver. For membership purposes, Driver/Throttleman are treated the same.

The Driver or Throttleman I'm adding to my boat through the Boat Owner portion doesn't appear in Trackside.
The individual is either not yet in the APBA Trackside system or their membership is still being processed. Enter a placeholder name for now and notify APBA staff with correct names and we'll take care of it on the back end.

Do crew members need memberships?
Yes. Anyone accessing restricted areas at races, including the crane area, race course, etc. must be an APBA member.

Can multiple people use the same Trackside account?
No. Every APBA member must have their own unique Trackside profile and email address. Memberships cannot be shared under one account because each member must personally complete and acknowledge APBA's legal documents and waivers.

How long does it take to receive my membership card?
Please allow 7–10 business days for your card to arrive.  Also, make sure your address is up to date

What if I don't receive my card before Michigan City?
Bring a screenshot or printout showing your membership payment. We can look you up onsite, but having proof of payment helps our scorers greatly and speeds up registration.

What if I need help?
We'll have membership kiosks available at registration to assist racers and crew members with signups and account issues. You can also contact the APBA Office or email us before the event and we'll be happy to help.  apbahq@apba.org  

Please don't wait until race weekend. Completing your membership now will make registration smoother for everyone and help us get you on the water faster.

Lastly, you can upload your capsule training and physical to your profile but for safe measure, ALWAYS CARRY A COPY WITH YOU AT RACES
