The 2026 APBA Offshore season is racing toward an unforgettable finish!

Following three thrilling race weekends in Atlantic City, Michigan City (including the completed makeup races), and Clearwater, the latest APBA National Championship points standings are now posted(Click Here). A quick look at the standings shows that several classes remain locked in intense championship battles, with coveted US-1 National Championships still very much up for grabs. For many competitors, those titles also represent a pathway to one of the sport's highest honors: induction into the APBA Hall of Champions.

The spotlight now shifts to Englewood, Florida, October 8-11, where the final APBA National Championship event of the season will determine who leaves as a National Champion and who will carry the prestigious number one into 2027. Every point, every lap, and every finish position will matter as teams make their final push for offshore racing glory.

Adding even more excitement, Englewood is also a key stop in the Florida Outboard Team Star Island Trophy Series, with valuable points on the line before the series finale in Key West. Competitors will be chasing not only championship points but also a share of an impressive $50,000 purse, making this one of the most financially rewarding weekends of the year.

The action starts early as course setup takes place on Thursday, allowing teams extensive testing opportunities on Friday with safety assets participating throughout the day. Expect crews to fine-tune their equipment and drivers to dial in their race setups before the championship battles begin.

And if Englewood isn't enough, the season's grand finale still awaits. Following the National Championships, the offshore racing world will converge on Key West, where teams will compete at the 45th Annual UIM/APBA World Championships presented by Xinsurance and hosted by Race World Offshore Nov 1-8. The legendary waters of Key West will provide the ultimate stage for the sport's biggest international showdown, bringing together the best teams, the fastest boats, and the highest stakes of the season.

With National Championships, Star Island Trophy points, Hall of Champions aspirations, a $50,000 purse, and World Championship dreams all on the line, the road to Key West runs directly through Englewood.

The countdown is on. Who will earn US-1, and who will go on to capture a World Championship? Offshore racing fans are about to find out.
