APBA Announces Junior Western Divisional Championship Designation at Moses Lake
The APBA Board of Directors has approved a one-time exemption to GRR 2.4, allowing the Junior Western Divisional Championship to be held during the upcoming race event at Moses Lake, Washington, August 14-16, 2026.
Recognizing the event's longstanding promotion as the Junior Western Divisionals and the efforts of racers and families who have planned to attend, the Board approved a one-time exemption to permit the event to serve as the 2026 APBA Junior Western Divisional Championship.
While APBA rules generally require championship events to be announced within specific timeframes, the Board determined that this unique situation warranted an exception because the event had already been publicly advertised and understood by participants as the Junior Western Divisional Championship event.
Junior Competitors are also reminded of the upcoming Junior North American Championship (NAC) event to be held in Danville, Illinois, later this month. Get out and support our next generation of drivers.
